Flooding: Casper has a minor risk of flooding, with 17.1% of properties at risk over the next 30 years.
Tornadoes: There are no recorded tornado events near Casper since 1955. Hail: Casper has the sixth-lowest risk of hail.
Earthquakes: Casper has the 32nd-lowest risk of earthquakes.

Casper has also been ranked as one of the safest cities in the United States for its low risk of natural disasters. It ranks fifth in natural disaster risk, and second overall in safety, in a study that examined 182 cities.
